Growing up on a farm in England’s lush Somerset county, founder Sam's days were filled with the simple yet immersive joys of the outdoors: playing in the fields, collecting flowers, and inevitably getting a little muddy.

As an adult, Sam's passion for nature's pleasures expanded to botanicals.

"By my mid-twenties, I converged my love for nature with my reverence for essential oils and developed a skincare collection exclusive to Soho House before letting my nomadic spirit guide me to Portugal. There, I learned the true importance of slowing down. Fast forward to today, I am happily settled on the coastal paradise of British Columbia, where the lush green forests and salty air fill my everyday life and help set the intentions for Somerset Moss — a skincare offering crafted to simplify your self-care by providing hard-working, clean beauty that nourishes your skin while invigorating your senses."
